Kara Montermoso

Kara Montermoso has extensive experience in various leadership and coaching roles, primarily at Idealist.org, where tenure began in October 2003 and includes positions such as Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Administration. In addition to contributions at Idealist.org, Kara has served as a Hospice Volunteer at Kaiser Permanente since November 2023, a Yoga Instructor at Empower ME Academy since June 2023, and an Assistant Coach for Varsity Gymnastics at Saint Francis High School since February 2022. Previous coaching roles include multiple sports at St. Monica School and as a JV Basketball Assistant Coach at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Brown University and an Associate’s degree from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy.
