Edwin Ward, M.A. has extensive experience in environmental health, safety, and sustainability. Edwin is currently the Director of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. Previously, they worked at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC as the Sr. Director of Environmental Health Safety and Workers Compensation. At ABB, they served as the Sr. Director of Health, Safety, and Environment for the EPIP Global Business Unit. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Thomas & Betts, Lamson and Sessions, and Lincoln Electric. Edwin has a strong focus on employee engagement and successfully develops, deploys, and communicates EHS and HSE activity to all stakeholders.
Edwin Ward, M.A. completed their education as follows:
- From 2002 to 2005, they attended Hiram College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies, with a minor in Global Communication.
- In 2010, they returned to Hiram College and pursued a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Economics and Sociology. Edwin completed this program in 2020.
- In 2010 and 2011, they attended The University of Memphis to study Foundations of Management/Leadership Excellence.
- In 2012 and 2013, they attended Oxford Brookes University and completed a Graduate Diploma in International OHS.
- Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer, Grad IOSH, OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer, and Certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner from reputable institutions. These certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2022.
