Thierry Duffour

Thierry Duffour is an experienced industrial leader with a strong background in the abrasives and glass industries. Currently serving as Plant General Manager at Saint-Gobain Abrasives since April 2018, Thierry oversees a site of 160 personnel, focusing on financial profitability and volume growth. Prior to this role, Thierry was the Plant General Manager at Vetrotech Saint Gobain France, leading a team of 65 in the production of fire-resistant glass with an emphasis on change management and sales growth. Thierry's experience also includes serving as Deputy Manager of Industrial Improvement at GLASSOLUTIONS Saint-Gobain, where responsibilities included enhancing industrial performance across multiple European sites, as well as previous roles focused on process improvement and product development at Saint-Gobain. Thierry began a career in R&D at Saint-Gobain Research North America, contributing to fundamental studies in ceramic physical failure. Thierry holds an Ingenieur civil des Mines degree in Materials Science from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
