Tyler White

Tyler White, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Engineer I at Saint-Gobain North America, having begun this role in March 2024. Prior to this position, Tyler worked as a Senior Scientist at DuPont from June 2021 to January 2024, focusing on dielectric materials within Emerging Technologies in the Electronics and Industrial Business. Tyler's academic journey includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech between 2016 and 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2011 to 2015. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, a Technology Intern at SABIC, a Post-baccalaureate Research Associate and SULI Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee.
