Clothilde Charmantray

Clothilde Charmantray has extensive experience in research and development within the building insulation and energy sectors. Currently, as an R&D Portfolio Manager at Saint-Gobain since March 2017, Clothilde manages portfolios focused on mineral wool product design and installer perceptions. Prior to this, Clothilde served as an R&D Group Leader at Saint-Gobain Research Paris, overseeing a team and projects related to thermal performance across various Saint-Gobain activities. Starting as a Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain Research Paris, Clothilde evaluated product impacts on energy consumption and comfort in buildings. Clothilde's academic background includes a Doctorate in Thermique - Energétique from Centrale Lyon and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electricité et de Mécanique.
