Janine El-Amin serves as the Assistant Director of the REACHing MAGIS Program at Saint Ignatius High School, where responsibilities include preparing students of color for high school through data analysis and the creation of learning guidelines. Additionally, Janine works as a Language Arts Teacher at Shaker Heights City School District, focusing on culturally responsive curriculum development, student progress analysis, and fostering a positive classroom environment. Previous experience includes roles as a Special Education Curriculum Leader and Intervention Specialist in the Garfield Heights City Schools, among others. Janine's educational qualifications include a Licensure in Education Administration from Cleveland State University, a Master’s in Education specializing in Mild/Moderate Intervention from Notre Dame College, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with concentrations in Language Arts and Mathematics from Ohio University.
