Shannon Sweeney is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in museum registrarial practices. Currently serving as Associate Registrar at the Saint Louis Art Museum since December 2022, Shannon's previous roles include Associate Registrar for Collections and Assistant Registrar of Collections at the Dallas Museum of Art from September 2018 to November 2022. Shannon's career also encompasses positions as Collections Manager/Registrar at Mulvane Art Museum Washburn, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation/Loo Family Intern at the Spencer Museum of Art, and various roles at the Saint Louis Art Museum dating back to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Art History from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and German from Saint Louis University.
