William Hocker is an accomplished Information Technology Instructor with extensive experience in various educational and technical roles. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at St. Louis Community College since January 2014, William leads Cisco Academy classes and transitioned from an Adjunct Instructor to a full-time position in Spring 2015. In addition to this role, William teaches part-time for the Society of Cable and Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), ISBE International Society of Broadband Experts, and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) since August 2016. William has previously held positions as a Technical Instructor at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, a UC Voice Technician at World Wide Technology, and Director of Cisco Academies at Vatterott College, among others. William holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Fort Hays State University, along with additional degrees in Computer Technology and Networking, History/Political Science, and a significant portion of coursework towards a Master of Divinity.
