Leadership Team

About

The leadership team at the Saint Louis Zoo has a wide range of experience in the field of zoology and animal husbandry. The current CEO, Dr. Jeffrey P. Bonner, has been with the zoo for over 20 years in various leadership roles. Prior to his work at the Saint Louis Zoo, he held positions at the Oklahoma City Zoological Park and Botanical Garden, the Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc., and the Shedd Aquarium. Other notable members of the leadership team include the Senior Vice President of Conservation, Education and Community Affairs, who has a degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota, and the Vice President of Institutional Planning & Inclusion, who has a degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
