Diane Trimble has a comprehensive work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily with Saint Luke's Health System. Diane started their career with Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City in 1992 as a Clinical Educator/Staff Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit and continued in that role until 2002. Diane then joined Saint Luke's Hospital in 2002 as an RN and held the positions of Director of Professional Practice and Magnet Coordinator until 2012. In 2012, Trimble transitioned to Saint Luke's Health System, where they held various leadership roles, including System Director Nursing Informatics from 2012 to 2014, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer from 2014 to 2018, and SVP, Chief Nurse Executive from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the SVP, Chief Quality Officer at Saint Luke's Health System.

Diane Trimble has a diverse education history. Diane obtained a Post Master's Certificate in Nursing Informatics from Duke University in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City between 1984 and 1991. Diane also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Webster University, which they completed from 1981 to 1983. Additionally, Diane obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Saint Luke's School of Nursing in 1981. In 2014, they acquired a certification in Nursing Informatics from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
