Robert Shields

Robert Shields, CDM, CFPP, has extensive experience in nutrition services and culinary management. Currently serving as Nutrition Services Manager at Saint Luke's Health System since February 2016, Robert oversees operations at the Barry Road and Smithville locations, including new initiatives like a coffee shop and employee management tasks. Previous roles include Chef Manager at Treat America Food Services, where Robert managed daily operations and client relations, and Culinary Instructor at Kansas City Kansas Community College, responsible for various culinary classes and program development. Earlier experience spans multiple positions, such as Chef De Cuisine at Blue Hills Country Club and Sous Chef roles at Saint Luke's Health System and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Robert holds an Associate of Science Degree in culinary arts from Johnson County Community College, completed between 1997 and 2001.
