Rev. Evan Harkins has been serving in various capacities within the Diocese of Kansas City-Saint Joseph since August 1999, including roles as a Priest and Vicar Forane. Currently, Rev. Harkins fulfills the role of Parochial Administrator at St. Patrick Catholic Church and has also served as Pastor and Parochial Administrator at St. James Catholic Church. Educational credentials include a Licentiate degree in Canon Law from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Arts in Theology and Master of Divinity from Kenrick Glennon Seminary, among others. Rev. Harkins has also participated in leadership training programs focused on business administration and management.

Saint Patrick Catholic Church is located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. We are a vibrant community of all ages including many young families. St. Patrick Catholic School, around the corner at 615 Washington Street, offers an outstanding academic program for kindergarten through grade eight. As a Leader in Me Lighthouse School, St. Patrick develops the skills students need for success. Our well-rounded academic program includes K-8 Spanish, fine arts, STEM and other cross curricular projects, and service to others in addition to core subjects. A wealth of extracurricular activities allow students to explore their interests. Onsite before- and after-school care makes life easy for busy families. Tuition is affordable with several ways to offset your costs in addition to need-based assistance for those who qualify. All faiths are welcomed with open arms. Clover Patch Preschool serves ages 3-5 with morning and afternoon programs and onsite day care. Columbus Catholic High School in neighboring Waterloo offers Catholic education for grades 9-12. Our Wednesday evening Faith Formation program for K-12 serves students enrolled in public schools. Our staff and the many volunteers provide fun and enriching activities on Wednesday evenings, family events, sacramental preparation, service trips, and Vacation Bible School. Catechesis of the Good Shepard program offers a hands-on faith formation opportunity for preschoolers.
