Douglas Scudder MD, MBA has extensive experience in the field of emergency medicine. Douglas began their career at Saint Vincent Hospital in 2006, where they served as the Associate Chief of the Emergency Department. During their time there, they held this position from April 2006 to September 2013. In 2012, they joined Emergency Medicine Consulting at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians as a Consultant. Currently, they are working at Saint Vincent Hospital as the Director of ED Quality Improvement, a position they have held since January 2015.
Douglas Scudder MD, MBA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Boston University, which they obtained in 1999. Douglas also earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from New York Medical College in the years 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration - Corporate Finance at Boston University from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2020.
