Dr. Alesia C.

Dr. Alesia C. currently serves as the Vice President of Patient Care Services at UChicago Medicine, a position held since September 2022, while also fulfilling the role of Vice President for Adult Inpatient & Emergency Services and ACNO. An adjunct nursing professor at Saint Xavier University since 2017, Dr. Alesia has previously worked as the Associate CNO and Executive Director of Adult Inpatient Hospitals at The University of Chicago Medicine from May 2018 to September 2022, and as Nurse Executive at Cook County Health and Hospitals System from 2015 to 2017. Prior experience includes serving as VP of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs from 2008 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nursing Administration from The University of Alabama, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Administration, both from Saint Xavier University.
