Katrina Powell

Katrina Powell, PhD, MSN, RN, currently serves as an Adjunct Nursing Professor at both Wilkes University and Marywood University since January 2017, alongside the role of Lab Manager/Nursing Professor at Marywood University. From August 2013 to August 2018, Katrina acted as a Nursing Clinical Instructor/Faculty at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County and held the position of Adjunct Nursing Professor at the University of Scranton from August 2016 to January 2018. Previous nursing experience includes positions as a Registered Nurse at GI Consultants of Northeastern Pennsylvania from May 2011 to August 2014 and at Geisinger Community Medical Center from 2006 to May 2011, where roles included Med/Surg and OR nursing. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University (2023), a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix (2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Wilkes University (2006) and Drexel University (2003).
