Nicola Caramella

Nicola Caramella currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security Operations at Saipem, a position held since June 2021, where leadership of Cyber Security Operations globally is maintained to enhance the organization’s cyber security posture. Previously, Nicola held the role of CISO and Head of Cyber Security at Ansaldo Energia from 2017 to May 2021, managing the complete digital security management process. Nicola's earlier experiences at Saipem from 2007 to 2016 included IT Security Advisory and Team Leader for Emaze Networks, as well as IT Security & Service Delivery Engineer for Omega Sistemi Informativi, focusing on developing cybersecurity roadmaps and managing ICT architectures, respectively. Prior roles include Customer Service & Software Quality Assurance Manager at Feedback Processi Logici and Technical Field Support Engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Education was completed at Università di Pavia.
