Shixin Li

Shixin Li has worked as a Data Engineer at Capgemini since 2021 and is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at SAIVA, Inc. since 2022. In 2021, Shixin Li also participated in a Data Science Fellowship at Springboard, which included 550+ hours of hands-on curriculum, with 1:1 industry expert mentor oversight, and completion of 2 in-depth capstone projects. Shixin Li mastered skills in Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning (including Deep Learning). One of the capstone projects was an In-Vehicle Coupon Recommendation, where Shixin Li performed supervised learning models to predict whether a driver will accept the recommended coupon.

Shixin Li completed a Bachelor's degree in Data Science & Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley in 2020. In 2021, they enrolled in a Data Science Career Track at Springboard. In 2019, they studied Mathematics at Technische Universität Berlin. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Natural Language Processing Specialization from DeepLearning.AI in November 2021, Git and GitHub from Google in September 2020, Managing Big Data with MySQL from Duke University in August 2020, Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai, and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) from DeepLearning.AI.
