Hridoy Islam

Hridoy Islam is a skilled Research Associate with extensive experience in financial technology, asset securitization, and social development financing. Currently employed at Alternative Investment Management of STEPs Limited since March 2020, Hridoy structured and executed Bangladesh's first microfinance portfolio securitization transaction worth USD 2.5 million. Concurrently, Hridoy serves as a Research Associate in Fintech at DataSoft Systems Bangladesh Limited, focusing on business development and relationship management within the Financial Inclusion and Next Generation Initiatives units. Previously, Hridoy worked at Bangladesh SME Corporation Limited, leading a UKAID co-funded project that financed 2,300 small and medium enterprises. Hridoy's career began with roles in treasury management at Omera Petroleum Limited and as an intern at Citi, where foundational skills in financial analysis and client relationship management were developed. Hridoy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from North South University.
