Patrizio Lainà is the Chief Economist at SAK (The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions), where they have held this position since 2019. Previously, Patrizio worked as a Chief Economist for the Finnish Confederation of Professionals STTK from 2019 to 2025. They served as an economist at the Bank of Finland, developing indicators for financial stability, and have lectured on economics at various institutions, including the University of Helsinki and the University of Eastern Finland. Patrizio completed a Doctorate in Political Economy at the University of Helsinki in 2018.
