Brian Buchanan

Brian Buchanan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Brian is currently employed as the Chief Technology Officer of Sakara Life, a position they have held since January 2024. Before joining Sakara Life, Brian was the CEO and Strategic Consultant at ProductivitySoft, LLC, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of PentaFour Group from November 2022 to May 2023. Brian worked at Leesa Sleep from March 2019 to November 2022, where they held the role of CTO & VP of Business Services. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Heritage Home Group, LLC from April 2017 to February 2019. Brian also held various positions at Heritage Home Group LLC, including the role of VP of Applications Development from January 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they worked at The Clorox Company as a Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager from April 2014 to January 2015. Prior to joining The Clorox Company, Brian served as the Director of Information Services at Burt's Bees from March 2010 to March 2014. Brian started their career at Ironworks Consulting as a Senior Director from November 2004 to March 2010. Additionally, Brian was the President and owner of ProductivitySoft, LLC from October 2003 to December 2006.

Brian Buchanan earned an MBA in General Business from William & Mary in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1982-1986. In 2014, they also became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance.
