Tyler Ranson has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Tyler started their career as a Sous Chef at Neighborhood Restaurant Group in 2010, where they worked until 2013. In 2012, they became the Executive Chef at Broadacres Ranch, where they served until 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a Culinary Consultant at Dartmouth College. From 2013 to 2015, Tyler co-founded and served as the Culinary Director for theBox at Dartmouth. Tyler then joined Sakara Life in 2015 as a Production Chef and worked their way up to become the Culinary Director until 2020. After that, they held the positions of Senior Director of Culinary Operations and Senior Director of Product Innovation and Procurement until 2023. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Procurement and R&D at Sakara Life.
Tyler Ranson began their education at Portsmouth Abbey School, where they completed their secondary education before attending Georgetown University. From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Art History. Currently, Tyler is studying at New York University, pursuing a Master's degree in Food Studies, Business and Social Entrepreneurship.
