Hussein El Kheshen

Hussein El Kheshen is a highly experienced professional with a background in technology, design, and business development. Hussein has worked for a variety of companies since 2016.

In 2016, they worked as a Business Development Intern for Samcrete Development, where they analyzed internal operations processes, conducted competitor analysis, and trained in the utilization and development of advanced financial models in Microsoft Excel. Hussein also worked as a Department of Economics Research Assistant and an IT Services Student Support Associate at The University of Chicago.

In 2017, they worked as a Tech & Design Intern for Future Energy Corporation, where they developed a model to determine electrical component specifications for complex solar energy grids, designed a model UI, and conducted a feasibility study on a debt crowdfunding platform.

In 2018, they worked as a Global CapEx Intern for Tesla, where they built a system to automate calculation of contractor payments based on logged hours and vehicle production targets, and negotiated savings worth US$1.6 million through pricing data analysis and supplier presentations.

Since 2019, they have been working as a Co-Founder, CTO for Sakneen, and as a Co-Founder & US Admissions Director for Apex Counseling.

Hussein El Kheshen obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Economics from the University of Chicago in 2019. In 2021, they earned a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
