Chalat Limpongsawatt

Chalat Limpongsawatt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant Tutor for Physics at LEARN Corporation in 2016, and later served as a Data Scientist Intern with True Voice Co., Ltd. in 2019, where they conducted research on classification models for chatbots and methods to identify and correct wrong words.

In 2018, Chalat worked as a Data Scientist Intern at HOME dot TECH, specializing in NLP and text-related machine learning. They also had a significant role at Chulalongkorn University, where they served as the President of the Student Council's Social Development Committee, overseeing budget approvals, revising student activity plans, and negotiating with university departments to ensure students' rights and freedom. They also served as the Vice President of the Human Resources Committee, resolving conflicts, creating a positive work environment, and assessing members' performance.

At Siametrics Consulting in 2019-2020, Chalat worked as a Data Scientist, focusing on NLP, text-related machine learning, and data analytics. They designed on-demand preprocessing and cleaning functions for NLP consulting tasks and automated data scraping for accident trend analysis.

In 2020, they joined The University of Tokyo as a Research Assistant, specializing in NLP and text-related machine learning. Their work included experimenting with different word tokenization and word representation models for Thai patents, fine-tuning Ulmfit Python library, and conducting Latent Dirichlet Allocation for technology management analysis.

From August to December 2020, Chalat was a Research Engineer at KASIKORN Business-Technology Group [KBTG], focusing on NLP and text-related machine learning. They implemented Active Learning to minimize chatbot labeling costs and achieved high accuracy in response to live chats through Multi-Brain Chatbots.

They gained experience as a Management Trainee at Aura Bangkok Clinic Co., Ltd., where they increased sales, optimized clinic operations, and built a data pipeline for faster analysis. At Shopee, as a Project Management Associate, Chalat represented the company as the Core Values Representative and summarized product specifications to acquire external platforms.

Most recently, Chalat holds the role of Senior Product Owner / Delivery Manager at Salary Hero. They orchestrate scrum teams, mentor interns, and have created an internship program to hire talented junior positions.

Chalat Limpongsawatt completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University between 2016 and 2019. In April 2021, Chalat obtained the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera.
