Michael Richardson

Michael Richardson is a highly accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and forensic investigations. Currently serving as the Manager of the Structural Department at Salas O'Brien since November 2017, Michael oversees financial, technical, and administrative operations for a diverse engineering team within a large multi-discipline firm. Furthermore, as the Owner of Richardson Engineering Consulting since May 2016, Michael specializes in forensic engineering, addressing issues such as structural failures and construction defects. Previously, Michael held positions including Project Manager at Advanced Engineering Consultants and Director of Investigative Project Development at American Structurepoint, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed managing various forensic engineering projects across multiple states. Michael started as an Engineering Intern at USI Consultants, Inc., and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
