Jason Nickels

Jason Nickels has over 20 years of professional experience. Jason began their career in 1988 as an Assistant Sales Manager at Trailfinders Ltd. In 1997, they moved on to become a Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer at South Westerm Electricity. In 2001, they became a Systems Analyst at Blueprint E-Commerce. In 2003, they co-owned South Devon Chilli Farm. From 2012 to 2016, they were self-employed, writing two books, 'Cooking Chillies - Recipes and Ideas to Make the Most of a Chilli Harvest' and 'Growing Chillies, a guide to the domestic cultivation of chilli plants'. Jason also owned and operated Earth Space Aerial Imaging, providing aerial surveying and photography, remote sensing and mapping services. In 2016, they became the Head Distiller at Salcombe Distilling Company.

Jason Nickels attended Bassingbourne Village College from 1978 to 1982 and then Netherhall 6th Form College from 1982 to 1984.
