Ben Hyde is a seasoned professional in the sports and hospitality industries, currently serving as a Rugby Coach at The University of Manchester since September 2024 and as a Brand & Community Executive and Sport & Education Coach at Sale Sharks Rugby Club since June 2021. Previous experience includes leading community marketing initiatives at London Irish Rugby Club, where significant events such as the St Patrick's Day Festival were organized, along with delivering coaching sessions and managing community projects. Additional roles include Duty Manager at The Pear Tree Inn & Country Hotel and Bar Associate positions at JD Wetherspoon and Worcester Racecourse. Ben Hyde holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports Management from Bournemouth University, completed in 2019.

Founded in 1861, we’re the oldest rugby union club in the Premiership, steeped in history. Born in Manchester and proud of our roots, playing top-flight rugby in the Gallagher Premiership, going head-to-head in Europe, and our emerging Sharks Women competing in the Allianz Premier 15s. We’re dreamers on the pitch, training hard to challenge for League titles and European silverware. Off the pitch, working to level the playing field with grassroots and community programmes.
