Lynda Abate

Lynda Abate is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking and mortgage industries. Currently serving as the Controller at Salem Co-operative Bank since June 2023, Lynda previously held the position of VP Controller at HarborOne Mortgage from October 2019 to November 2022. Additional roles include Assistant Vice President of Financial Accounting at Northeast Credit Union and FVP Accounting Manager at East Boston Savings Bank, as well as Assistant Treasurer/BSA & Compliance Officer at Haverhill Bank. Lynda began their career as Accounting & Operations Manager at Northeast Community Credit Union. Lynda holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bank Financial Management Diploma from the American Bankers Association, along with additional education from Merrimack College and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
