Karl Kamper

Karl Kamper serves as the System Director of Clinical Support Operations at Salem Health since September 2019, providing leadership across Imaging, Laboratory, and Environmental Services/Patient Transport divisions to enhance integration and care coordination. Previously held positions include Director of Laboratory Services at Salem Health, and Director of Ancillary Services at Willamette Valley Medical Center, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple departments and managing teams. Karl has also contributed to academia as Adjunct Faculty of Clinical Laboratory Management at OIT/OHSU, where a comprehensive course on clinical laboratory management was developed and taught. Earlier experience includes roles at Intermountain Healthcare, culminating in a Laboratory Supervisor II position. Karl holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Brigham Young University.
