Phillip Armstrong

Phillip Armstrong is an experienced leader in the healthcare and insurance sectors, currently serving as the Director of Contracting & Payer Relations at Salem Health since June 2014. In this role, Phillip provides strategic direction to enhance payer collaboration and accountability. Prior experience includes leadership positions such as Director of HIM, where Phillip managed a team to implement organizational changes, and multiple roles at Farmers Insurance, including Liability Claims Manager, where Phillip oversaw significant claims operations. Phillip also served as VP of Marketing and Sales at VMG, specializing in software sales and marketing within the insurance industry. Phillip holds an MBA from Western Governors University and a BA from Pacific University.
