Leila AtallahBenson is a Middle School Science Teacher at Salem Public Schools. Previously, Leila worked as a Store Manager at Fabletics, a Project Manager at Coastal Systems International, Inc., and a Masters Student at Shark Research & Conservation University of Miami. Leila also has experience as a Volunteer Researcher at the Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation and as a Scientific Assistant at the Department of Environment and Maritime Affairs. Leila has a Master's Degree in Shark Research and Conservation from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Northeastern University. Additionally, Leila has conducted research on foraminifera evolution and genomics as well as on brain-computer interfaces.
