Mike Smee

International Enterprise Account Executive (Procurement Solutions) at Sales Layer

Mike Smee has over 18 years of experience in sales, account management, and business development. Mike started their career in 2004 as a Major Account Manager at Comtec Europe, where they achieved placement of Comtec's products across all business channels of a major global travel group. In 2006, they joined Redfish Group as Business Development Director, where they refined the proposition, target markets, and ideal prospect profiles. In 2008, Mike returned to Comtec as UK Head of Sales, where they were responsible for taking full account direction responsibility for their largest account. In 2012, they joined MICROS Systems UK Limited as Sales Manager (Corporate Accounts) for their UK eCommerce division. In 2013, they served as Group Sales Director (interim) at Eysys. In 2014, they worked as Group Account Director at Occam DM Ltd. In 2015, they joined OneStock UK as Country Manager (UK) and later as Country Director (UK) and Omnichannel Solutions Director. In 2019, they became Client Director at itim. In 2020, they joined Fluent Commerce as Sales Lead UK, I & Nordics. Most recently, they began working as Global Account Executive at Sales Layer in 2021.

Mike Smee attended the University of Plymouth from 1990 to 1993, where they studied Computing. In 2010, they attended the University of the West of England and obtained a Prince2 (Registered Practitioner) certification. Mike also obtained two Artificial Intelligence Foundations certifications from LinkedIn in August and September 2018, and a Prince2 Registered Practitioner certification from APMG-International in September 2010.
