Dr Yannick Lallement

Dr Yannick Lallement has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dr Yannick currently holds the position of VP of Corporate Functions Analytics, AI & ML Solutions at Scotiabank since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Global Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Scotiabank from July 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Scotiabank, Dr Lallement worked as a Director of Data Science & Machine Learning at Scotiabank from September 2018 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Data Scientist at Scotiabank from January 2017 to August 2018.

Dr Yannick also worked as a Radio Columnist at CBC/Radio-Canada from 2002 to 2006, where they wrote a bi-weekly column on a Saturday morning show, discussing food history and traditions.

Dr Yannick Lallement obtained a Ph.D. in Artificial intelligence & massively parallel computing from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy I / Inria Lorraine in the period 1992-1996. Before that, they earned a DEA (Advanced Education Degree) in Artificial intelligence from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 during 1990-1991. Dr Lallement also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université de Metz, completed from 1986 to 1990. Dr Yannick is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not mentioned.
