Robert Simora

Robert Simora has a strong background in technology and product management. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Salesfloor since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at TrueLearn from November 2020 to April 2023.

In addition to their roles in the private sector, Simora has also made contributions to the technology industry in North Carolina. Robert has been a Board Member of the Triangle Technology Executives Council from January 2015 to April 2020. Robert has also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors for NCTA (North Carolina Technology Association) since September 2015 and continues in this role.

Simora's previous positions include being the CTO & Raleigh Site Leader at Cengage from September 2016 to November 2020. Robert was also the CTO & VP Product Management at WebAssign from September 2014 to September 2016.

Before their roles in the education technology field, Simora worked at Railinc, where they served as the CIO & VP Product Development from February 2010 to September 2014 and AVP Product Development from April 2007 to February 2010. Robert also has experience as the Director of IT at Tekelec from December 1997 to April 2007 and as an IT Manager at GE from 1994 to 1997.

Robert Simora completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Management Systems and Finance at Fordham University from 1990 to 1994. Robert then pursued an MBA at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2010 to 2011. Between their undergraduate and graduate studies, Robert also attended the GE Information Management Leadership Program from 1994 to 1997.
