Emily Zhao

Emily Zhao is currently a Principal at Salesforce Ventures, where investments have included companies such as Together AI, Hugging Face, and Anthropic since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Investor at Avenir Growth Capital from September 2020 to May 2022 and at The Blackstone Group from August 2018 to July 2020. Emily Zhao also served as a Private Equity Associate at J.P. Morgan from June 2016 to August 2018, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at the same firm in the summer of 2015. Earlier experience includes a Research Internship at McKinsey & Company in 2013. Emily Zhao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History from Dartmouth College, graduating in 2016.
