Ashish Mody is a highly experienced engineering leader with a focus on digital engagement and field service solutions. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Salesforce since December 2018, Ashish leads teams responsible for the Conversation Platform and Live Agent solutions, as well as the Extensibility Platform for Salesforce Field Service on mobile. Previous positions at Salesforce include Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager for mobile applications, notably the Salesforce1 app for Android. Prior experience includes roles at Medallia as Director of Engineering, where leadership led to recognition in the Forrester Customer Experience wave, and earlier roles at Research In Motion and as a freelancer in web development. Ashish holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BE in Electronics & Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
