Ram Kulathumani

Ram Kulathumani is a seasoned professional in machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Senior Applied Science Manager at Salesforce since April 2025. Previously, Ram held the position of Senior Manager, Machine Learning and Data Science at Proofpoint from January 2021 to April 2025, where significant projects included developing a RAG-based question-answering platform, implementing model evaluation frameworks, and creating ML-powered prediction software. Prior roles include Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Globality, Inc., where Ram developed algorithms for extracting text from PDF documents, and Sr Staff Data Scientist at Juniper Networks, focusing on defect recommendation systems.
