Allison Rona has a diverse work experience in product marketing and sales. In their most recent role as the Director of Product Marketing at SalesIntel.io, they are responsible for overseeing product marketing strategies. Prior to that, they worked as an Expert-in-Residence at Rippleworks, where they provided support to social ventures. Allison has also worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Gem, Sendoso, and Concord, where they led various product marketing initiatives, including go-to-market planning, customer research, messaging, and sales enablement. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Product Marketing and Senior Product Marketing Manager at Pearson, where they managed market insights, product positioning, and GTM strategies for multiple products. Before entering the product marketing field, Allison gained experience in sales as a District Sales Manager and Sales Representative at McGraw-Hill, achieving impressive sales results and leading a team of sales reps.
Allison Rona obtained a BA degree in History from Reed College. In addition, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they obtained a Market Certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI). Then, in 2019, they completed certifications in Create a Go-To-Market Plan from LinkedIn, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot, and Sales Enablement from HubSpot. Most recently, in April 2023, they obtained Pricing Certified | Masters from Product Marketing Alliance.
