Alex Fairbanks has a diverse work experience in various roles related to content strategy and copywriting. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Junior Copywriter at AMG Creative, Inc. In 2008, they interned as a Copywriter at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where they gained experience working with clients such as Volkswagen, Coke Zero, Burger King, and Amex. They then worked as a Copywriter Freelance at The Creative Group + Self-Employed from 2007 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, Alex worked as a Copywriter/Customer Engagement Specialist at Webroot, where they focused on positioning antivirus software and providing support to the online community team. They then joined Merkle in 2012 as a Copywriter and worked until 2017.
