Anushka Anand

Anushka Anand's work experience includes a diverse range of roles in various companies. Anushka is currently the Director of Product Management at Salesloft, where they lead a team focused on data engineering, ML engineering, analytics, and CRM integration. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Product Management at Dremio, leading the product strategy and roadmap for Dremio Arctic, a new data management product. Anushka has also held positions at Tableau Software, where they were the Director of Product Management for the Tableau Catalog PM team and a Senior Product Manager. Anushka contributed to the growth and adoption of Tableau Prep and Data Management, as well as working on features in the augmented data management space. Before that, Anushka worked as a Research Scientist at Tableau, where they built an engineering team focused on applied machine learning methods and contributed to forward product direction in the area of smart analytics. Additionally, they have experience in non-profit organizations, serving as a Program Committee member and a [Student] Member of the Board of Trustees at the Anita Borg Institute for Women in Technology, and as a Technical Mentor for the Data Science for Social Good Fellowship at the University of Chicago. Anushka also has research experience as a Research Assistant at the National Center for Data Mining and as an Intern at AT&T Labs, Inc. and Motorola. Anushka Anand pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Anushka obtained their BSc in Computer Science from the American University of Sharjah, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Anushka then went on to pursue an MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, completing it from 2004 to 2006. Anushka continued their academic journey and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the same university, studying from 2006 to 2012.
