Joe Wright

Joe Wright has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joe started their career as a Senior Research Assistant and First Year Writing Lecturer at North Carolina State University from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Web Developer, creating and maintaining websites for various clients.

In 2014, Joe joined Whole Foods Market as a Team Mentor/Production Leader, where they provided guidance and leadership to their team. Joe then transitioned to Spoonflower in 2015, working as a Business Intelligence Analyst until 2017.

From 2018 to 2019, Joe worked as a Web Developer at Samanage before joining States Newsroom in 2019. At States Newsroom, they held various roles, including Full Stack Developer, Contracted Webmaster, and ultimately Principal Engineer. In these positions, they played a crucial role in developing and maintaining a national network of news sites and implementing custom software solutions.

Joe then joined Three Ships in 2022 as a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead, contributing their expertise to the team. Currently, they serve as the Manager of Web Engineering at Salesloft, a position they started in 2023.

Joe Wright has a diverse education history. In 2011, they graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature. Joe then pursued a Master's degree in English 20th Century Literature from North Carolina State University from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a Development Engineer Certification, specializing in the Full Stack Software Development Program.
