Michelle McCarthy has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing operations. Michelle currently holds the position of Director of Marketing Operations at Salesloft. In their previous role at Blackbaud, they served as the Director of Marketing Sciences and Data, where they built a team focused on analytics, modeling, testing, and optimization. Michelle implemented various initiatives such as a multi-touch platform, automated data enrichment, and a marketing sciences tech stack. Michelle also led the transformation and growth of the marketing engine as the Director of Marketing Operations at Blackbaud. Michelle developed the sales and marketing funnel operations methodology and implemented a multi-touch attribution model to increase marketing effectiveness. Michelle managed various contact acquisition initiatives and led the implementation of core platforms like Salesforce and Marketo. Prior to these roles, they held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing operations at Blackbaud, including Senior Manager, Manager, and Associate Manager. Before joining Blackbaud, Michelle gained experience in support operations as a Scheduling Specialist and Support Assistant.
Michelle McCarthy completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business with a focus on Marketing at The Citadel between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University, completing their studies between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michelle McCarthy obtained a certification as a Root Cause Analysis Practitioner from Blackbaud in the year 2016.
