Winifred Akande

Winifred Akande has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Winifred is currently a Senior Business & Communications Program Manager at Salesloft, where they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they also worked at Salesloft as a Communications Program Manager from March 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining Salesloft, Winifred worked at Georgia State University for seven years starting in January 2015. During their tenure, they held the position of Associate Director, Integrated Graduate Student Services (Financial), where they were responsible for various tasks such as promoting masters programs, managing student organizations, overseeing internships, and developing relationships with alumni.

In 2013, they worked as an Associate at Pathstone Family Office. Prior to that, they gained experience at Ernst & Young, where they held the roles of Tax Senior and Tax Staff Accountant from 2012 to 2013. In these positions, they worked on personal financial services, provided tax planning, and ensured client satisfaction.

Winifred also had earlier experiences as a Campus Coordinator (Intern) at Southern Company in 2011 and as a Student Assistant and Supplemental Instruction Leader at Georgia State University from 2008 to 2011.

Winifred'swork history also includes an internship at Ernst & Young, LLP in 2009 and a role as a Teller at Washington Mutual Bank from 2004 to 2008.

Winifred Akande completed their education at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Winifred first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Taxation from 2010 to 2011. Later, they went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Analysis, which they completed from 2018 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Winifred also obtained additional certifications. In 2013, they earned their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the Georgia Secretary of State. In 2018, they completed a course on "Excel 2016: Pivot Tables in Depth" from Lynda.com.
