Dustin Chilson has a long and varied work experience. Dustin began their career in 2003 as a Camp Councelor at Camp Rotary, BSA, where they held many different positions around the camp including handicraft staff, scout craft staff, and waterfront staff. In 2006, they began working at Delphi Steering as a Coop Student, where they were responsible for the maintenance of the Production Control and Logistics World headquarters web site using web technologies including ASP, JavaScript, and HTML. That same year, they became a Founding Partner & Lead Web Developer at Lone Canoe Productions, where they were responsible for the maintenance and design of www. In 2009, they began working at Meijer Inc as a General Merchandise Clerk, where they worked on the 3rd shift stocking team as well as the GM and grocery receiving teams. In 2010, they became a Web Design and Gaming Intern at Reid Supply, where they helped conceptualize, design, and code a social website targeted at students and professionals using CAD. Finally, in 2011, they began working at CAVALLO (Previously SalesPad) as a Developer 4. In 2005, they also held the role of Lodge Vice Chief of Secretarial Services at Mischigonong Lodge 89, Order of the Arrow, where they were a voting member of the lodge executive board and responsible for all publications for the lodge including the lodge website using web technologies such as PHP, SQL, CSS, and HTML.

Dustin Chilson received their High School Diploma from Heritage High School in 2006. Afterward, they attended Delta College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an AAS in Information Security and Technology with a focus on Computer Science and Criminal Justice. Dustin then attended Ferris State University from 2008 to 2011, earning a BS in Information Security and Intelligence with a focus on Information Systems, Digital Forensics, and Fraud. Additionally, they obtained a Programming in C# Certification from Microsoft in August 2019 and an FCC Amateur Radio License from the Federal Communications Commission in July 2006.
