Manuel Hartmann's work experience starts with their role as the Founder & CEO of SalesPlaybook, a B2B SaaS startup sales journey partner in the DACH region. Manuel founded the company in March 2019 and continues to lead it. Manuel also co-founded and co-hosts Europe's B2B Tech Sales Podcast since June 2020. In 2021, they joined Pavilion as a member and focuses on expanding the organization's presence in Switzerland.

Before SalesPlaybook, Manuel worked at Onedot as a Sales Entrepreneur from May 2017 to January 2019. During their time there, they played a crucial role in increasing sales and expanding the customer base. Manuel also established Onedot's brand in the market and transformed the company's services from project-based to a product-based subscription model.

In addition, Manuel served as a Member of the Advisory Board at Student Impact – Consulting for Sustainable Ideas from September 2015 to April 2017. Manuel worked as a Consultant at Accenture from January 2014 to April 2017, leading a CHF 2+ million Quote-to-Cash-Salesforce.com transformation project and serving as a functional lead in international Salesforce initiatives.

Manuel also had earlier experiences, including implementing an eLearning tool for Holcim Patent Management during their time at Holcim from June 2013 to December 2013. Manuel interned in Sales & Marketing at Tesla Motors from January 2012 to July 2012 and worked as a Junior Consultant at Zellweger Management Consultants from August 2011 to January 2012.

Manuel'sinitial work experiences include being responsible for various tasks at Netstal Maschinen AG from September 2007 to June 2008 and serving as a Spare Parts Clerk from September 2007 to December 2007.

Manuel Hartmann completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, graduating in 2011. In 2012, they enrolled at the same university and pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Business Innovation, which they completed in 2013. During their master's program, they also attended the Mandarin House Summer School in Shanghai, China, where they studied Chinese.

In terms of additional certifications, Manuel obtained their Salesforce.com Certified Administrator certification in May 2015 from Salesforce. In June 2015, they achieved the Quote-to-Cash Certified certification from Apttus. In July 2015, they obtained the Configure Price Quote (201 CPQ) Certified certification from Apttus as well. Continuing their professional development, they became Contract Lifecycle Management (201 CLM) Certified in June 2016 from Apttus. Lastly, in December 2017, they completed the Sales Strategies: Mastering the Selling Process certification from Coursera.
