Cameron Vail has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Cameron began their career at ABC Home & Commercial Services as a Sales Support Specialist, where they worked for seven years. In 2012, they took on a Communications & Marketing Assistant position at Bluehorse Associates and an HSE Internship at Wison Group. Later that year, they joined Hewlett-Packard as an ISS Procurement Manager. In 2013, they joined SALI Fund Services and held various roles, including Fund Development Analyst, Fund Development Manager, Director, Managing Director, and their current role as Chief Operating Officer.

Cameron Vail's education history begins with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General, which they pursued at The University of Texas at Austin from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they enrolled in the Paris School of Business and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Management in 2012. During the same year, they also spent some time at Shanghai Normal University, focusing on Chinese Studies within the field of International Management. Additionally, in 2010, Cameron Vail attended UNSW for finance studies.

In terms of certifications, they obtained the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Charterholder designation from the CAIA Association in May 2021.
