Matan Mire

Head of Laboratory Operation at SaliCrop

Matan Mire has worked in various roles in the agricultural field. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Agronomist at Mei-Ami, specializing in plant health management and promoting organic and green pest control methods. In 2020, they became an Agricultural Appraiser at Mire Assessors, conducting damage assessments and producing reports for planting fields, crops, and livestock. Currently, they are the Head of Laboratory Operation at SaliCrop, where they manage and conducts R&D product experiments, oversees quality control and sensitivity testing for crops, and manages the operations of the organization in both the laboratory and field environments.

Matan Mire holds a Master's degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Haifa, which they pursued from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Plant Protection and Integrated Pest Management at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, Matan obtained a certification in Plant Protection in the Ornamental Garden from the Israeli Landscape & Gardening Association in October 2019.
