Victor Rey Jr.

Victor Rey has worked over 15 years in Food Production Management, most of that in food safety in the Salinas Valley produce industry. He has been active in Community Service since high school and college, and before his recent appointment in 2018, Rey previously served on the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System's Board of Directors from 2012 to 2016. He attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Crop Science with minors in AgriBusiness and Ethnic Studies. He graduated as Salutatorian from Alisal High School in 1998. He is a Certified Professional of Food Safety via the National Environmental Health Association. In 2011, he received a Masters of Business Administration (Suma Cum Laude) from the University of Phoenix.
