Amanda Vandeveer

Amanda Vandeveer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2023, they are currently employed as a Senior Scientist in Immunology/Oncology at SalioGen Therapeutics. Prior to this, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Scientist at EMD Serono, Inc.

Between 2012 and 2022, Amanda held multiple positions at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Amanda was initially a Scientist/Biologist from 2017 to 2022, focusing on in-vivo models for immuno-therapeutic efficacy and MOA studies of multiple I-O agents. Amanda also provided preclinical support for Avelumab in Urothelial Bladder Carcinoma. Before that, they were a CRTA Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2012 to 2017.

In addition to their industry experience, Amanda also has teaching and academic roles. Amanda served as a Lead Professorial Lecturer at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health from 2015 to 2022. Amanda Vandeveer holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases from The George Washington University. Amanda also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Technology from Norwich University. In addition, they hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology and Immunology, which they obtained from The George Washington University.
