Tessa Mccarty

Tessa McCarty is an accomplished professional with a strong background in education and social services. Currently serving as the Writing Center Director at Salish Kootenai College since September 2022, Tessa brings expertise from previous roles, including Child Protective Specialist at Child and Family Services and Education and Outreach Coordinator at Families First Learning Lab. Tessa has experience as an English Instructor while working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, managing all aspects of the WRIT 101 course. As the President of the Associated English Graduate Students at Montana State University-Bozeman, Tessa developed valuable community engagement initiatives for graduate students. Tessa holds a Master of Arts in English from Montana State University-Bozeman and a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Montana-Western.
