Kara Sjoblom-Bay

Kara Sjoblom-Bay has worked in communications and administration for over 20 years. Kara began their career in 1995 as a Publicity/Advertising Coordinator for Orion Pictures. Kara then moved on to become Office Manager/Development Associate for Sanford/Pillsbury Productions before taking a position as Office Manager for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. In 2002, they joined the Stanford University School of Medicine as a Faculty Affairs Administrator, a position they held for 12 years. In 2015, they became a Faculty Affairs Consultant for the university before moving to their current role as Communications Administrator at the SALK INSTITUTE FOR BIOLOGICAL STUDIES in 2017. Kara is a highly skilled administrator with a passion for communications and helping others.

Kara Sjoblom-Bay graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication.
